Nice thorough look at Chrome. I was impressed by their Filipino-language UI, will try it for a day just for a change.

Now I'm convinced Chrome is targeted at Firefox users ;) I wonder if it can surpass Firefox 3's Guinness World Record.

    Hey Jhay!

Thanks thanks ^_^ Yes, try the Filipino-language UI, it is a little bit confusing though (and funny :p ). I really hope Google let Filipinos do the translation ;)

I believe Chrome will overtake Firefox once they add add-ons/extension support, especially now that IE7 joined it (Opera has its own). Take a look at Safari for Windows, it still has not gained that much traction coz of the lack of add-ons/extensions.

Customizing one's experience is the thing of today. But who knows, maybe Google's name alone can give them enough leverage to be a major competitor.

Google chrome has a nasty security flaw. Read here: http://lineage2.iplayasia.com/boards/redirect.p...

I far as I researched, that shouldnt be a problem using it, at least for most of the users

there are so many advantages and features with Chrome, such as it's speed, for example; now if only they would take care it's quirky cookie management...

Absolutely rocks in every way. Google has once again proven that it has what is needed to deliver great products. it’s a decent browser…download time may be a dash slower than other browsers but the app load time, smooth rendering, space utilization etc are great.

I wonder if they will release this browser for mobile phones? I would like to see some cool browser options for the Motorola Krave. (motorola.com/krave) It has a slick touch screen that can be used without flipping the screen open, as well as bluetooth and full html web browsing. Has anyone else used this yet?

I think they will. The way I see it, Chrome was designed to be released for Android, so probably we can install it in non-Android powered phones, especially Motorola, it is easy to mod :D That's why I love Moto so much.
